Exciting news! I've been profiled in the University of Alberta's Alumni magazine, New Trail, alongside four other bloggers. You can read about how this blog here was a launch point for my fashion journalism career. Thank you to all of my readers and visitors over the past few years, you're the reason for the conversation!
Did you know? Thanks to Dress Me Dearly for sharing this super-cute video from Free People. Look out Calgary and Toronto! Free People, part of Urban Outfitters Inc., is opening two locations in Canada this summer, and I cannot wait! Karlie Kloss has nothing to do with it.
I'm so excited to share Wildfox Couture's new Romeo & Juliet-inspired (á la 1996, with my all-time high school dreamboat, Leo) Fall 2012 campaign. Click here to read their (high school) inspiration (love it!) and see the full spread.
Have a great weekend (my sister is having a baby tomorrow - and I've never felt this elated in my whole life!)
I wrote an article for the National Post on beach fashion (or rather, SoCal fashion), and here's a great example of how sport-brands like Billabong have mastered a whimsical aesthetic, not necessarily for surfing, or beach days, but for travel, adventure, lounging and relaxation-- for an all encompassing lifestyle.
Click here (and through) to view more of Nirrimi's work (she's that successful, young, Australian, gypsy-photographer with a penchant for writing who I've posted about many times before), and enjoy the lovely video above. I'd love to hear your thoughts.
