The Good, The Bad...

I've heard the good, the bad, and the ugly when it comes to this "Good Kate, Bad Kate" March '12 W Magazine editorial, but I have to say: I love it. When a creative gets you talking, that's when you know it's really art, and has crossed over from being just another mundane fashion shoot to becoming something worthwhile. After all, fashion is a reflection of our culture, a reflection of the present; it's all about sparking discussion.

And to totally disregard any "deeper meaning" behind this shoot, let's get back to the pure aesthetics: do you prefer Good Kate or Bad Kate? Do you prefer the light side? Or the dark?

Eternal Optimism...

Wow - I haven't been this excited about an editorial in a while! I'm so inspired by the fusion of classic and industrial fashion, art, and interior design in this March '12 spread from American Vogue (featuring all your favourite girls: Frida Gustavsson, Caroline Trentini, Karlie Kloss, Jourdan Dunn & Aymeline Valade). 

And my GOD, am I ever excited for spring! Metallic sandals, minty pastels, pleated and full skirts, mismatched prints, under-the-sea coral and blues, crisp Peter Pan collars. It's going to be a beautiful season.
